The BMW iX3, the German automaker’s first all-electric SUV, will feature an optional Continuously Variable Semi-Active Suspension with external valve (CVSAe) technology from Tenneco.
The new crossover SUV, the first of 13 BMW next-generation EVs scheduled for launch by 2023, will be available in Europe and China later this year.
Tenneco says the Monroe-brranded CVSAe suspension senses and continually adapts to a dynamic operating environment via four electronically controlled dampers.
